Rogue Training's Iron Chicks program prepares women with all experience levels - those that have never participated in a triathlon, as well as experienced triathletes. Iron Chicks training groups are limited to 30 participants per coach, giving it a small-group intimacy and plenty of interaction. You're sure to feel cared for and noticed.
We all know its more fun to train with friends, and now it literally pays off! Bring a new participant to the program, and each of you receive the following discount:
You + 1 friend = $10 off each You + 3 friends = $25 off each You + 5 friends = $50 off each You + 10 friends = $75 off each
Iron Chicks meets at two different locations: South/Central - Veloway & Rogue North/West - Anderson High School
Iron Chicks provides multiple swim practice options. Choose from two time slots on Sundays at Balcones Pool up north or two time slots Sunday at Dick Nichols Pool down south. Iron Chicks celebrates its 8th year of training in Austin this year. Come train with the best! Want to train in San Antonio? Check out Texas Tri Dogs Girls in Training ! "Texas Tri-Dogs' "Girls in Training!!" in San Antonio, Texas offers a reasonably priced 10-wk program coached by Melissa Whan, USA Triathlon coach. Girls in Training (formerly Moms in Motion) is small group of 15-25 ladies at any one given program. We have created a niche for getting fit, having fun, and raising funds for charity. There are member led groups Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays and a coached session on Saturday mornings. All members will be coached through Training Peaks website which provides a workout journal and planned daily workouts. We encourage each other to make new goals and stick to it. And best of all, there is never a shortage of friends in our group. For more information go to www.texastridogs.com . Here's what you should bring to the Rogue Women's Triathlon: There will be no packet pick up in 2009, as the race has been cancelled.
